CONTACT LENSES

The first polished lenses from the II BC millennium were found already in excavations triple, but it isn't known what were used for. Only in 1887 German glass blower yuck Muller produced the first minimal booze tolerated through the human eye, on the base of which in 1888, the German physiologist constructed the first contact lens. Unfortunately she was cumbersome and could not be worn longer than through a few hours.

At present contact lenses can be worn under the daily, two-week, monthly or quarterly procedure. They are very popular and are facilitating living in many situations.

TOILET PAPER

 

 For the first time the toilet paper was produced in the 14th century in China for the purposes of the master. They were trying also to use old newspapers, but they didn't turn over of result. The crucial moment came in 1879, when paper turned up at the roll. They started bleaching it or colouring to different colours and stayed in such a form we know which until today.
However the toilet paper has a great future!!!

FRIDGE

Primitive refrigerators already came into existence BC. Vikings inside the house, a long way from the centre of copals deep ground floor in which at the bottom they put snow or ice.
John Harison drew the first refrigerator up and started selling them in 1862. They had an appearance of the ordinary wooden piece of furniture and were coated with of isolation paints. The freezer was added to them almost one hundred years later because only in 1939. In houses of average people first refrigerators of the Electorlux brand appeared.

CHEWING GUM

Few people know that the chewing gum was already known by ancient Greeks and Native Americans. For her resin was a primal version from the bark of the Pistacia rubber plant lentiscus. Contemporary people used her to cleaning teeth and refreshing breath.
At the end of the 19th century she already happened more or less with such a product which is at present, thanks to the American scientist for Thomas Adams. Adams hit this idea, working in the office of Mr Antonia López which had a habit of the mastication of the plant chicle. Thomas tried to use it for rubber manufactures of tyres, but one day added to her of sugar still "Chiclets" created the first sweet chewing gum which still is popular.
